The Raleigh Jewelry Making Meetup

I started this group in order to meet fellow artsy-crafty people, visit area bead stores and jewelry studios, attend jewelry-related events, and to explore all types of adornment.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're "just curious," a beginner, a casual jewelry-maker, or a seasoned professional, and whether you work with ceramic, wire, art clay silver, metal, beads, altered art or whatever.

This new group is a work in progress, and it requires participation to make it a success. If you have an idea for a Meetup, or a jewelry-related subject you'd like to demonstrate or teach, let me know. Thanks, and welcome!

"I am currently working in communications and I am artist on the side. Making jewelry is one of my favorite hobbies. When I go into a bead store I come out with way more than imagined. I will enjoy meeting people with the same interests."
