This was great fun! Jewelry artist and teacher, Kate, showed some of her work and had ideas for future meetings. Clearly, Sunday afternoon isn't as good a time as it seemed, so when do you want to meet next? Post here or email me. Thanks, Mary B

"It was wonderful to visit with another jewelry artist and see her work! Our guest, Kate T., showed some great pieces that she not only made herself, but teaches to others at the Edwardsville Arts Center. I got a chance to show her some of my finished bracelets, earrings and necklaces, too, and one was a technique she wants to learn from me. We discovered that we like a lot of the same colors, and that we both like wire work. Kate suggested that if we meet twice a month, one meeting could be devoted to a member teaching a favorite piece or skill, and the second could be a visit to a bead shop, class, studio, etc. (This would move the location of our meetup around. Anyone with ideas about a place, please speak up!)"
