"Hi, I'm Diana. I need to be surrounded by creative types. I am a fledgling artist whose best works so far have been jewelry, but I'll make anything that doesn't require power tools (until I learn how to use them). Clothes, candy, clocks, etc..."
Why did you join this Meet-up group? What are looking to get out of it?
"I'm the only person I know who makes jewelry, and that's pretty lonely. I'm also in a creative funk right now. I think meeting other people will help my artwork get back on track."
Do you want to meet new people? Make friends?
"Who, exactly, do you think is going to say no to this question? Of course I'm excited about meeting other jewelers."
Where is your favorite place to shop for supplies? (Can be a store or website)
"I get most of my supplies from FireMountain Gems and Rio Grande and Eastern Findings."
What is your favorite thing to make?
"I think that might be best answered by looking at the gallery section of dianajungkim.com."
How long have you been making jewelry?
"I'm not really sure; I think 8 years is a safe estimate, but there have been long periods of time when I have been making other things."
